I was just going to pick up my computer from the lab.
I went into Terni (a town 20 minutes from Amelia that is a regional center similar to Pasadena) dressed in casual clothes I had purchased in Paris: v-neck t-shirt, high-waisted jeans and a pair of Geox loafers, carrying with me a cute little French tote.

I had forgotten about a little boutique in Terni that is off of the main street but sells quality Italian clothing. I peaked in the window, drooled over the clothes and lamented that the store’s lights were off. Unfortunately the door was open and the proprietor working. A red coat charmed me, but how many times would I wear it? Then I was offered a jacket which changed my outfit from blah to ah!
So the moral of the story: dress up before you go window shopping.
