I would have never left LA if Miss Lucy was still teaching ballet classes there; but when my youngest went to university and my ballet teacher moved to Texas, I embraced life in my Amelia.

Then Covid lockdown happened in 2020 and Miss Lucy and I began our classes via Zoom; then we added a reunion class on Sundays with our group from the Colburn adult dance program.

My fashion style does evolve around a pair of well-defined legs that wouldn’t exist without the exercises at the ballet barre, nicknamed “Legs by Miss Lucy”.
