Pink: pink boots, pink slip and pink pashmina mixed with leather and lace

Mommy with a finance degree who writes about art crime. “What do you do?” I hated that question when my kids were small. I was once in the middle of Europe, in the Aegean sea and some kids eager to practice their English asked me this: “Really?” When my kids were small, I only had time to be a mommy. And although it was harder than getting a college degree, I am so grateful I got to be mommy to my kiddos (they were, in my opinion, particularly kissable and huggable). But now one is in college, the other in her last yeR of high school. So yeah, when she asks me for something, I do it even if it means changing things around, or writing at a slower pace. Because I know how fleeting this period is.

Meanwhile, as I told her at breakfast, I am always working — writing, posting, promoting, laying groundwork. Being open to opportunities because life can be full of change and surprises and I will be dressed for it and through it, for the happy times and the challenging times. Because I learned that the storm is not me and it will pass.

Meanwhile, today started with those irrisistible pink suede Valentino boots, the Pinko black lace and pink slip long sleeve dress with the front slip, and a comfortable pashmina by Hermès. Wear your best clothes — you’re living for today.
