Photographer Fausto Frezza generously worked with me on his terrace in Amelia (with the assistance of two fabulous women friends) to show the ease and grace of this white dress by Chiara Boni. The Florence designer (www.chiaraboni.com) uses stretch jersey material and great fit to create a feminine and comfortable dress that can be thrown on after a day at the beach, after a workout at the gym (wear these dresses with casual shoes and you have a day dress, slip on pumps and you have an evening dress), and even for errands and work. I found this dress (on sale at 50%) on a mannequin at the boutique in Rome and it’s easier to fit into than it looks! This is a new brand for me this summer and a new look but Claudia, my Italian Parter-in-all-things-Fashion, dared me to try something different and I am glad that I did! Now I am waiting for the boutique on Melrose Place in Los Angeles to open. Meanwhile, I have found these dresses for sale on the Neiman Marcus website (www.neimanmarcus.com). I earn gift cards for NM through my American Express credit card and then haunt the sales at NM for great deals.
